California native, Megan Buckelew, was born in the bay area and raised in the central valley before moving down south in order to pursue a bachelors degree in Emerging Media Production at California State University, Northridge. While working with CNN, she continues to strengthen her skills as a video editor and producer. Working on stories with the aim of evoking emotion and stirring relentless pursuits for truth. Whether it be the truths that lie in love, protest, or passion her goal as a creative has always been to cultivate the seeds that plant life. In her free-time she enjoys painting, playing with her cats, and watching good TV.
